Information that may be processed
Game progress stored on your device
The Game stores information such as settings, unlocked cores, weapons and upgrades, achievements, shard balance, run history, scores, and other progression data locally on your device. This information is used to preserve your game state. It is not an account profile and is not normally transmitted to the developer.
Purchases
If you purchase the Full Game or a shard pack, Apple processes the payment. Purchase and transaction information may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat, including the purchased product, transaction or receipt information, storefront, currency, purchase status, and an anonymous or app-specific user identifier. The developer does not receive your complete payment-card or bank-account details.
Rewarded advertising
When you choose to watch a rewarded advertisement, Google AdMob may process technical and advertising information such as your device type, operating system, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, advertising identifiers where permitted, consent choices, ad impressions, interactions, and diagnostic information. The exact information depends on your device settings, region, consent choices, and the type of advertisement served.
Game Center
If you enable Apple Game Center, Apple may process your Game Center player identifier, display name, scores, leaderboard entries, achievements, and related activity. Game Center is optional and is governed by your Apple account and Apple’s privacy settings.
Website analytics and technical data
When you visit the Game’s website or use a web-based build, privacy-focused analytics and hosting systems may process basic technical information such as page views, referring page, browser and device category, approximate region, and timestamps. Server systems may also temporarily process IP addresses and request logs for security, reliability, and fraud prevention.
Information you choose to provide
If you contact the developer for support or a privacy request, the developer will process the information included in your message, such as your contact details, device information, screenshots, and the content of your request.
How information is used
Information is processed only as reasonably necessary to:
- operate the Game and preserve player progress;
- process, verify, restore, and prevent abuse of purchases;
- deliver rewards after an eligible advertisement;
- provide leaderboards and achievements through Game Center;
- measure performance and improve stability and gameplay;
- detect fraud, security incidents, and technical problems;
- respond to support and privacy requests; and
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, and platform obligations.
Third-party service providers
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies:
Advertising, consent, and tracking
Rewarded advertising is optional: you decide whether to start an advertisement in exchange for the displayed in-game reward. The Game may ask for consent or display a privacy message where required by law.
On Apple devices, the Game will request permission before accessing the advertising identifier for tracking where Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework requires it. If permission is denied, the Game can still request advertisements, but the advertising identifier is not included in the request and ads may be less personalized.
The developer does not sell personal information for money. Depending on local law, personalized advertising may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where required, consent and opt-out controls will be provided through the Game’s privacy options or your device settings.
Storage and retention
- Local progress: remains on your device until you reset the Game, clear its storage, or remove the app, subject to device backups and Apple platform behavior.
- Purchase records: are retained by Apple, RevenueCat, and the developer as needed to provide purchases, restore access, prevent fraud, and comply with financial and legal obligations.
- Analytics and advertising: are retained according to the relevant provider’s settings and privacy policy.
- Support requests: are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate records, and resolve disputes.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can:
- play without creating a developer account;
- decline an optional rewarded advertisement;
- manage tracking permission in iOS Settings;
- use in-game privacy options when available;
- manage Game Center through your Apple settings;
- reset locally stored progress using the Game’s controls or by removing the app; and
- request access, correction, deletion, or restriction where applicable law provides those rights.
Some records cannot be deleted immediately when they must be retained for purchases, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Requests concerning information controlled directly by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or Vercel may need to be submitted to that provider.
Children’s privacy
Neon Horde Survivor is a general-audience game and is not directed specifically to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly request a child’s name, email address, or other contact information through the Game. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information directly to the developer, please make a privacy request so the information can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
Security and international processing
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States, subject to the safeguards and legal mechanisms described in their respective privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the Game, its services, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when a material update is published. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies from its effective date.
